[기획 의도] 초기 직장암에서 장기보존 전략의 가능성과 한계를 집중적으로 토론하기 위해 구성되었습니다.
1) cT2N0 직장암 환자에서 국소절제 후 보조치료와 선행치료 후 Watch-and-Wait 또는 국소절제라는 두 가지 주요 접근법을 비교하여, 장기보존의 임상적 타당성을 검토합니다.
2) 국소절제 후 양성 절제연 발생 시 organ preservation을 시도하는 전략과, 여전히 TME가 종양학적으로 가장 안전하다는 근거를 대립적으로 제시하여 실제 임상에서의 의사결정에 실질적 통찰을 제공하고자 합니다.
